About Stake4Life
Stake4Life was established in 2026 to do one thing properly: manufacture timber stakes and fencing posts for Irish farms, plantations and growers, from Irish-grown timber, on Irish ground.
Where We Are
The yard sits at Rosegreen, a few minutes outside Cashel, in the middle of some of the best grassland farming in the country. That is not an accident. Being surrounded by working farms means the feedback loop is short: if a stake is splitting under the driver or a strainer is undersized for the run, we hear about it that week, not next season.
We are a manufacturer, not a factor. Round timber comes in from Irish sawmills and forestry contractors, and everything after that happens here: grading, rounding or sawing, pointing, drilling, pressure treatment, banding and dispatch. Nothing is bought in finished and relabelled.

How We Work
We buy Irish-grown round timber and process it ourselves in Co. Tipperary. Nothing is bought in finished and relabelled.
We do not run a second grade. If a stake would not do the job on our own boundary, it does not go into a bundle for yours.
We quote the lead time we can actually meet. If a run slips, you hear it from us before the delivery date, not after it.
Every treatment charge is logged and every batch carries a record, so the paperwork is there when you need it.
Inside
the Yard
There are no shortcuts hidden in here. This is the whole sequence, in the order it happens.
Round timber arrives at Rosegreen from Irish sawmills and forestry contractors. Every load is measured, graded for straightness and stacked by diameter before it goes near a machine.
Stakes are machine-rounded to a consistent diameter, or sawn square, depending on the product. Consistency matters: a stake that varies along its length fights the driver and splits.
Points are cut on four sides so the stake tracks straight as it is driven. Drilling for insulators, struts or gate hardware is done at this stage, before treatment, so preservative reaches the cut faces.
Stakes are treated in a vacuum-pressure vessel to Use Class 4 for in-ground service. Each charge is logged, so any bundle can be traced back to its treatment batch.
Finished stakes are counted, banded into bundles and either loaded onto our own delivery lorry or palletised for haulage. The treatment record travels with the batch.
Who We Supply
A single bundle for a gap in a boundary fence is as welcome as a contractor's articulated load. What changes between the two is the lead time and the haulage, not the grade of the stake.
Being Straight About It
We are a young company, established in 2026. We are not going to tell you we have been doing this for three generations, and we are not going to quote certification we do not hold.
What we will tell you is exactly what species a batch is, what class it was treated to, and what date it came out of the vessel. If a size is not in stock, we will say how long it takes rather than promise a date we cannot hold.

Build one pallet across the range — line stakes, strainers, tree stakes — and every item still prices at its full-bundle rate.
One pallet per order at this rate. Standard bundle quantities apply per product line.

Committing to 2,000 stakes or more across a season? We hold the price for the run and schedule the drops around your jobs.
Subject to a written supply agreement of 2,000 units or more. Talk to the yard before your first drop.
